Janax Pacha (Gabriel Epstein) is an Argentinian musician, producer, and DJ whose work blends electronic music with ritualistic and organic sounds.
Born in Buenos Aires in 1990, he began exploring music at the age of 10, studying piano, drums, and guitar. His influences span classical music, blues, jazz, reggae, salsa, funk, and bossa nova.
In his early twenties, Gabriel embarked on transformative journeys across South America, playing music for tips in streets and restaurants, traveling with almost no money. These experiences deepened his connection to culture, indigenous wisdom, and the roots behind every rhythm.
Returning to Buenos Aires, enriched and nourished by music and culture, he chose to deepen his path through music production, electronic composition, and band arrangement. This exploration gave birth to Chillout Sessions, his first project blending electronic music with ethnic instruments. From there, his evolution naturally led to the creation of Janax Pacha, a live looping project guiding audiences into states of trance, presence, and profound connection.
After years of traveling and performing internationally—including nomadic tours through Europe and South America—Janax temporarily settled in Tulum, where he explored music for plant medicine ceremonies, further expanding his shamanic and ritualistic approach.
